INSTALLATION OF HEATING SYSTEM

Installation of the heating system in both courts is nearing completion. The heating system will include both a timer and fan system which is designed to quickly heat both Courts #1 and #2 and keep them heated while in play and shut off when the courts are not in use. Instructions on use of the system will be posted outside of each court once installation is complete. We anticipate that our membership will find heated courts inviting during those cold winter days and nights.

BOOKING SQUASH COURTS

Members are strongly encouraged to book their courts at all times! We have had several complaints of members showing up for their game only to find that the courts are occupied by players who have not booked courts. This is a courtesy. Players who have not booked their court MUST always yield the court to players that have booked on our online system.

* In October 2003, Forbes magazine rated squash as the top recreational sport in terms of overall fitness benefits. In comparing activities, the Forbes review assessed cardiovascular benefit, muscle strength and endurance, contribution to flexibility, calorie consumption in 30 minutes and risk of injury. Squash out-pointed such well known recreational activities as swimming, cycling and cross-country skiing.
